Navigating Ineffective Tools and Underperforming Opt-In Rates

Zero Foxtrot initially relied on Attentive to manage email and SMS opt-ins. While the platform delivered moderate results, it lacked the tools to drive significant growth or simplify the customer journey. Seeking improvement, Zero Foxtrot and their agency, Rock City Lab, transitioned to Amped, which showed slight performance gains but soon introduced uncertainty after its acquisition by Mailchimp.

We were on Attentive, then moved to Amped when it gained traction. But soon after, they got bought by Mailchimp, and we were back to looking for a better solution.

Despite the switch, challenges persisted. Email sign-up rates hovered between 3-5%, and both platforms struggled to provide meaningful improvements in lead quality or actionable insights.

Adding to the complexity, Zero Foxtrot’s small team, in collaboration with Rock City Lab, needed a solution that could integrate quickly and deliver results during their busiest season, Q4.
